Eh, a form of stress release

The Whoopee Cushion...

It was invented in 1930 in Toronto, Canada by employees of a company called JEM Rubber Co. They were messing with some of their scrap sheets of rubbers. The guy in charge of JEM Rubber went to Samuel Adams, who ran a practical joke company, but refused to take on the new idea claiming that it was too vulgar and would never sell. JEM then offered the idea to the Johnson Smith Company who sold it with great success.

In the 90's an advancement was made on the Whoopee Cushion, a springy foam was added into the inside of it so draw air into it. And the self-inflating whoopee cushion was born (Wikipedia is a good friend of mine)

So now I got myself a small whoopee cushion, about the size of my palm. It is easy to squeeze and laugh at. It relieves muscle tension in the arm and makes me laugh on most occasions when I'm feeling child-like. These envoke the relaxation response which is a good thing...

Eh, a blank page

Anything new has to start somewhere. Usually someone who has something to get done starts somewhere. They have a starting point. An obvious starting off point usually. That is great for them, they can go about their task nice and easily. But what about when the starting point is just as hard to get to as the solution?

Well then frustration ensues. Chaos within ones mind comes with that territory. You know something has to be done, but with the start is difficult to figure out the path is not so clear. It is like looking at a blank page going 'where do I fucking start' when faced with an exam question you are confused looking at, let alone answering. Us students have been there at some stage or other.

This is where I was. I knew I had to do something. But what it was I had to do I hadn't a clue. It was very frustrating. It was upsetting. Not knowing something is one of the more frustrating things. Not knowing what someone thinks of you after you've said somethnig nice to them, not knowing what the rules of the game you are playing in shoulder deep in it or being asked something you should know and think you know, but the words or knowledge escape you. The brain's capacity to work is dampened.

So when that happens, you go right back to that blank page you started with. How bad is that?

I came across a Facebook page which has some ingenius maths jokes. Most of which are above my capability, but the ones I do get I apreciate...

This is a video which was posted in the photos album

Eh, Happy New 365

Fuck New Year Resolutions, unless it is to learn a new skill you never got around to getting it when you were young.

Forget New Year Resolutions, loosing weight isn't as fun as building a body is.

Go for the New Year Guidance Card, it'll draw your attention to things. It'll either comfort you or prepare you for the next 12 months.

New Year to just let things happen and have grattitude for what comes your way. It may be a blessing in diguise.

The next Decade? We'll see what happens

Eh, going into the Master's cave

The Start of the new stage of my life has taken affect. I'm going to be looking for answers to questions I do not know of yet. I have the usual ones picked out already. The 'who am I', 'why am I here' and a whole life evaluation, which I haven't thought through yet.

I am in need of quiet time for reflecting on things. Time where I do not get disturbed, distracted, interupted, stressed or intruded upon. What I need to reflect upon is where I feel I am going to stumble down a bit. Do I need to write down my query on a piece of paper and let God dish out my answer when he so chooses? Or do I just keep thinking of the question hoping for the penny to drop?

My whole life evaluation seems to be upsetting me in some places. Do I want to be in this relationship now? Do I really feel 100% confident in what I'm doing? There are some things which I feel if even question them, the will cave in and I'll stop doing it. These are things I deem necessary to my existance, like my education. Do I continue in my sport because some of the individuals are (subconciously) against what I believe the sport to be about? Diligence, integrity and self control, some of these qualities are abscent in members of the club I go to. And it is having it's affect on me...

I was told not to search for the answer. I was advised to let the answer come to me. This shit isn't easy, I tell you that much. With that bit of advice I will just have to go along in life without thinking of my questions and then realise the answer long after it happened. Or I may even be thinking of the question whilst I see the answer in front of me. Or I may see the answer then see that it is what it is I have been looking for. I was told about the cave I need to go into. It is the cave of my innner self, the darkness, the blackness of the un-explored self, the area of me I do not know very well. I have a fear of the unknown. But it will have to become my new home within myself.

All I can hope is that what that darkened section of myself brings me positive results and realizations. but I will not get the answer when I search for it. I just have to sit in that dark cave of the new Master and wait, wait, wait.....
